Exciting Painting Holidays with Tessa!

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming painting holidays with Tess, celebrating ten wonderful years of fantastic trips and amazing people! Join us for a series of inspiring adventures in stunning locations, where you’ll have the opportunity to refine your painting skills while soaking in beautiful landscapes and local culture.

Here’s what I have planned so far:

	2026 – Painting In Peymeinade  From Lac Cassien to Le Chapel de Matisse to the Pictoresque Village of Saint-Paul, to the Perfumes of Grasse and the Gorges de Loup, this long awaited trip is already fully booked. 23-31 May 2026 FULLY BOOKED
	2026 – Vigneti Repetto – Sarezzano, Piedmont, ITALY I will be running a four day trip there before the close of my exhbition (19th September – 17th October). The vineyard has a bed and breakfast attached, with 5 huge double bedrooms with ensuites. Price per person 1750€ (accomodation not included). 12th – 17th October 2026
	2027 – Lavender fields  Painting in Valensole in the dreamy lavender fields, swimming in Lac Sainte Croix and generally having a few days of bliss. Price TBA DATES TO BE ANOUNCED
	2027 – Painting Retreat in Tuscany This retreat is something truly special — a week immersed in the beauty, light and timeless atmosphere of Tuscany, based at the charming Casa Ezio Marchi. Surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves and historic villages, we slow down and settle into a gentle rhythm of painting, exploring and enjoying Italian life. Mornings are dedicated to painting, inspired by the landscapes and architecture of the region. 5 – 12 June 2027
	2027 – Chateau Pecile, Bazens Join me for a creative immersion in painting, drawing, and mixed-media at the tranquil Château de Pécile in south-west France. Over seven nights and six days painting, this intimate retreat (4 – 8 participants) offers guided art workshops, open studio time, and the inspiration of France’s countryside. Alongside creativity, guests will enjoy nourishing organic meals, restorative yoga options, and excursions designed to spark imagination. Price per person 2250€ (accomodation not included). 26th June – 3rd July 2027

Provence through the year

With May come the glorious red fields of poppies that stake their claim on the land. In June the purple of the lavender fields mingle sweetly with the delicate petals of the poppies. The perpetual hum of bees in harmonious ecstasy fill the scented summer air.

Then there’s the heat, the deep green of summer, the turquoise of the lakes, the vibrant dance of the dragonflies that court in the fresh mountain streams. Jolly boatmen cast delicate shadows as they tread softly on the water’s edge. There is so much inspiration here for my work as an artist.

Late September thrills me and fills me with awe and love, the ‘Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’, the grapes plump and ready to pick, the figs begging to be made into burgundy-coloured jam. In the vineyards the flaming, blazing beautiful hues of autumn entrance me, implore and invite me to go and paint them. Who could resist such glorious temptation. What bliss then to sit and paint in my own garden of joy.
