This retreat is something truly special — a week immersed in the beauty, light and timeless atmosphere of Tuscany, based at the charming Casa Ezio Marchi.

Surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves and historic villages, we slow down and settle into a gentle rhythm of painting, exploring and enjoying Italian life. Mornings are dedicated to painting, inspired by the landscapes and architecture of the region.

Throughout the week, we’ll visit some of Tuscany’s most beautiful towns, including Valdichiana, Montefollonico, Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona and Bettolle — each offering its own unique atmosphere and inspiration.

With a small group and a welcoming, intimate setting, this retreat is designed to be both inspiring and deeply restorative.

My fees for this trip are 1850€ per person.

Please note that the fee for bed and board at Anna’s house are separate and additional to my fee. Contact Anna Rigano by phone or email for the price of the room rental.

How to Get to Casa Ezio Marchi

By plane the closest airports are:

Florence Airport (FLR) – ~1.5 hours by car
Perugia Airport (PEG) – ~1 hours by car
Rome Fiumicino (FCO) – ~2.5–3 hours by car
Pisa Airport (PSA) – ~2.5 hours by car

By train. From the airport guests can also take the train to Terontola-Cortona, which is about 20 minutes from the villa.

Transfers – A private driver can be arranged to pick you up directly from the airport or Terontola-Cortona and bring you to Casa Ezio Marchi.
