I have had an exhibition at this magnificent vineyard before, and the wonderful owners, Marina and Gian Paolo Repetto have become dear friends. Next year my exhibition opening is on the 17th of September and I would love to see you there. ABOUT
Tessa Baker
I live in the warm and dreamy land of Provence where throughout the year I can paint outside using watercolours and pastels. My open-air paintings are the most figurative. It is not until I am in my studio that the figurative becomes abstract. I enjoy the process of finding the abstract within the figurative, often creating a semi-abstract painting.
I work in mixed media until I find an outcome that I am happy with, and this usually determines which media should be used to complete the work. It could be oil on linen, acrylic on linen, ink with airbrush or a huge watercolour.
It is all a voyage of discovery.
